About this role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and suitably qualified counsellor to work on our new domestic abuse project. They will co-ordinate referrals onto project, carrying out triage, assessment and counselling of victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence supported by volunteer counsellors.
The successful candidate will hold a recognised Foundation Degree or Diploma in Counselling and be accredited or accreditable by BACP or other approved Governing body.
This is a new role and position and an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
The following opportunity is now available:
Domestic Abuse/Sexual Violence Counsellor
- 18 hours per week (We are open to flexible working arrangements)
- £12,986 per annum (FTE £25,250.00 pa)
- Delivery will be a blended approach with a combination of remote and in person delivery across the county.
- This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2024 (With potential for extension subject to funding)
- Starting date asap.
