Counselling Services

As a charity, we are reliant on external supporters to fund our counselling services. Several commissioners provide the vital funding that we need, including the NHS North east and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (NHS ICB), who fund our general counselling service, and both the Office of Northumbria Police & Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and Northumberland County Council (NCC) who provide funding for our Domestic Abuse counselling services. We also receive funding from The National Lottery Community Fund. The websites for each of these organisations are linked below should you wish to find out any more information about them.

Solid Foundations

We are partners with Solid Foundations Programme; an employability programme that brings together various services in Northumberland to support economically inactive individuals.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the North East Combined Authority as the Lead Authority.

The North East Combined Authority was formed on 7 May 2024. Led by an Elected Mayor and Cabinet that covers the seven local authority areas of County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside and Sunderland.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
