Rita Timson

Rita has recently joined the Cygnus Support team as their Community Volunteer Coordinator. With nearly 30 years’ experience of working to support individuals in the local community, she is excited to be returning to working with volunteers, a role which she can be truly passionate about, in an organisation which she herself volunteered with many years ago.

Outside of work she enjoys visits to the theatre, for live music, musicals, plays and ballet.  With an interest in social history she also likes to visit the many historic buildings around the North East.
