Andrea Alder

Andrea joined Cygnus in August 2022 and is currently completing her final year in integrative counselling, and carrying out her placement with Cygnus.

Alongside this, she is appointed as a bereavement co-ordinator and involved in the setting up of a new bereavement service for Cygnus.

She has a wide range of experience of working with children and families of different ages and cultural backgrounds. She also has experience working with individuals with additional needs, and as a volunteer co-ordinator of a befriending service to ease loneliness and social isolation.

In her spare time, she loves being with her three grandchildren, listening to live music with friends, and walking in nature.
